Anders embodies the thing we look for most in a director. He's Swedish. We have fluoride in the water which makes good teeth; they have something that makes directors. And the really amazing thing is his teeth are pretty good too. Anders had a very clear idea of what he wanted to do with these spots from the beginning. Yet at the same time he was open and excited to collaborate and make room in his vision for other ideas and opinions. All with a bulldog like intensity around protecting the sanctity of the original concept.

Before I met Anders, I looked at his reel and was quite impressed with his craftsmanship as well as his sense of humor. After meeting him and discussing the commercial, I was not disappointed. We shot it in one day, a very long day, and it was an invigorating experience for me. I would go on, but suffice it to say that I was impressed enough after the day shooting to discuss with Anders the possibility of doing a feature film with him. I hope that, one day, that will come to fruition.
